Ghosts & Goblins, Fact or Fiction
By Mary Ann Bramblett
On a recent trip to Nashville, Indiana I became enchanted by a photograph I saw of a Hotel. It would seem that the Hotel was of an era gone by and, may have only been a figment of an artistic imagination. Whatever it was, I was hooked and, though didn’t purchase it, took a business card in case I found a wall space for this unique piece. A few hours later on my return home down Route 135, this same hotel came to life as it was sitting there right in front of me. Was my mind playing tricks?
What You Will Find at The Story Inn
“The Story Inn” a tattered looking building with the images of days gone by was “Real” nestled in the outskirts of the Hoosier National Forest and Brown County State Park. Well, of course, I had to learn more, and that I did. The “Story Inn” was built in 1851 and hosts an acclaimed Restaurant, Tavern, General Store, Hotel, and much more.
Oh, and did I mention the Hotel is HAUNTED!!!! Its’ year round occupant is known as the” Blue Lady”. Many of the guests have experienced sightings and encounters with Her and in each Guest Room are Guest Books which document these sightings. So book an evening and possibly have an encounter with the “Blue Lady”
So, paranormal, ghosts, haunted rooms – So they exist? If you’re looking for a 19th Century ” Ghostly Adventure” try a night at the “Story Inn” and be your own judge. Are there ghosts and goblins, fact or fiction?
